Donation to Hospice
Muslim Shia Ithna Asheri Jammat of Essex makes donations to hospices to remember the suffering of Imam Hussain (AS) and his family
Members of the Muslim Shia Ithna Asheri Jammat of Essex came together in the month of Muharram to collect money for St Clare Hospice, Harlow and Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford.
Members of Essex Jamaat organised majalis during the month of Muharram and benefited from listening to scholars, getting in touch with emotional side of human nature and supporting each other to develop spiritually. They also took the opportunity to collect and donate money to local hospices in order to pay tribute to Imam’s suffering and do something practical to remember Imam. They also took this opportunity to inform the hospice staff and through them wider community of Imam’s principles and message.
